Paul ValenciaPaul Valencia, Michigan Tech ’11, past chapter president and Interfraternity Council president on his campus, submitted the winning design concept for the Conclave logo contest. SigEp’s Communications Task Force considered 48 submissions from 24 undergraduates and alumni before making their selection. “We really appreciated the way Paul’s concept of a phoenix bird incorporated the location of the upcoming Conclave in a graphic way. He also did a great job of reflecting the SigEp colors and the theme into a cohesive concept,” said Task Force Chairman Steve Ruttner, Washington ’79, himself a graphic designer. Valencia, a biological sciences major, and SigEp’s design team collaborated to achieve the final look.
